KM336 Kenwood
Chef Classic
The KM336 Chef Classic Mixer from Kenwood is designed to take the effort out of food preparation, leaving you greater options and delicious recipes to play with. The large 4.6 litre capacity bowl of the Chef Classic km336 is perfect for a huge variety of kitchen tasks including kneading, whisking and liquidising. The automatic speed control with pulse maintains the speed of the KM-336, regardless of load, for the sake of consistency and texture.
The KM336 has a slow speed outlet at the front of the machine, used for mincing or pasta rolling, a high speed outlet on the back top of the machine, designed for the liquidiser and centrifugal juicer, and a bowl outlet for making dough, pastry or cakes.
The Kenwood Chef Classic KM336 is finished in a traditional gloss white. While most beaters rotate in a circular motion, the Kenwood bowl tools move in a planetary way, making sure all the mixture is picked up from the bowl, resulting in perfect and thorough mixing. For convenience's sake, the pop-up head of the KM336 Chef Classic Mixer allows you to quickly and easily change attachments.

Great aid for baking, e.g. bread, cakes with excellent results. The recipe book is very useful and has led to many successes especially the rich chocolate cake! Not a cheap item but it is starting to pay back already!

I treated myself to the Chef Classic about four months ago and I wish I'd bought one much sooner.
I bake quite a lot and this thing really makes light work of the creaming and kneading etc etc, and sweet shortcrust pastry is now as easy to make as it is to buy! I also tried mashing sweet potatoes after everyone told me how well the K-Beater mashes - and it did.
The dough hook is a great extra - although I would say that it will only handle a relatively small amount of dough. If you're after making five or six loaves at a time, then perhaps the bigger model would be better. However, it handles dough for a couple of 1lb loaves easily enough.
If you're considering one of these things, dive in! You won't regret it.
